常常听到同学反馈从来没有过退货的经历怎么办，那我可以分享一下自己的生活体验，住在北美的朋友估计都会很喜欢逛costco，那么costco有着超棒的return policy， 所以经常就会因为心血来潮买的东西到头来发现不好用就会退掉。
比如我们完全可以设计一个比如你在逛costco 看见一款咖啡机在打折促销，所以一下子没多想就买下来了。 那么你就可以说
I came across a coffee machine during a random Costco trip (在Costco 闲逛) on the weekend. I wasn’t planning to (原本没打算) buy a coffee machine that day, but it just seemed like such a good deal, so I just went for it
那么接下来你就可以预想到会发生的事情，导致你要退货
1）操作起来很麻烦
I realized it had way too many buttons and settings. I tried making coffee a couple of times, but it just didn’t turn out right (结果不理想)。
2）没有机会/时间
I thought I’d use it every morning, but in reality, I still ended up (最后还是……（通常与预期相反）) grabbing coffee on my way to work. It just wasn’t as convenient as I imagined. After a while, it started collecting dust (闲置不用、落灰) on my counter.
最后呢，还好Costco 有很宽松的return policy， 所以你顺利退货成功。那么你学到的教训就是冲动购物并不是可取的。
